On the Fourth Day of Christmas...

I am grateful for sweats. I have never owned a pair before this week when we quickly realized I shouldn't be allowed to wear pajamas out of the house, but my knee is too swollen to wear jeans with.

On the 5th Day of Christmas...

Today I am grateful for the simple things. I am grateful for books. Specifically the Harry Potter series. I have mentioned my Harry Potter nerdiness here and I also mentioned I am a fake fan. These past few weeks I have been reading Harry Potter, and I absolutely love it! I don't regret seeing the movies first either.

On the 7th Day of Christmas...

I am grateful for family, especially mine this holiday season. I recently had surgery two days ago, and I am so grateful for everything they have been doing for me as I haven't been able to get up very often to help myself. We always spend the holiday season with each other, and I absolutely love it. Every year I remember the holidays very distinctly because of it.

Christmas Time..

Now that there is 8 days until Christmas, I thought I would post my Christmas Wish List. So here it is!

1: Some new Vans that feel like corduroy, but are smaller than that

2: Navy blue Hunter rain boots. Only problem is that it rarely rains in California, so it's not worth the moo-lahh!

3: 500 Days of Summer DVD and Soundtrack(my all-time-favorite movie)

4: Hunger Games t-shirts! I really only want 1, but how cute would it be for your boyfriend(or husband) to wear a shirt to the movie premiere on March 23rd with you? :)

5: These Moccasins look so comfy, but I might just have to wait for my birthday to get them

Please remember this Holiday season about the true meaning of Christmas! The joy of our Savior's birth, and everything he did for us while on this earth.

My favorite part of this Holiday season are the pretty Christmas lights, and the beautiful music we sing in church on Sunday

This past week, I haven't been able to stop listening to Death Cab For Cutie.. Especially their song "I'll Follow You Into the Dark". Basically I love Death Cab(my nickname), but this week especially it has uplifted my thoughts!

Random Thoughts Monday

Today I am mad(slash)scared(slash)stressed(slash)hopeful

This week is the last week of school before Winter Break, so that means LOTS of homework and tests. Needless to say I am pretty stressed about a few tests. It does not help that my computer is not working very properly as well.

I am also completely stressed for FRIDAY. I am an athlete. And part of being an athlete means I have to go through a few occasional injuries in my life. I have been pretty lucky though, and I haven't ever had any major issues until this knee injury.

But being an athlete means that occasionally I have to go through some surgeries, and I am having my first(and hopefully last) surgery on my knee. At first when we scheduled it like 3 months ago I was alright with the idea, but with it so close now, I am getting a little worried.

All next week though I will keep a holiday update with everything I'm thankful for this Holiday season :) and I will post about my magical trip to the WIZARDING WORLD OF HARRY POTTER and on a wonderful DISNEY CRUISE!!!
