The Magnificent, Wonderful, Totally Authentic...

HUNGER GAMES
I'm not sure about you. but I know I am freaking stoked for Hunger Games to come out! I remember when the girl sitting next to me in Pre-Algebra, Miss Love's class 7th grade, was reading it. It sounded completely weird and, being the fact that the genre was a science fiction book, I totally judged it(I know!It was the worst decision of my life). ANNNNYYWAYYYSSS, a few months go by and I can't find a book to read, so I head to the book store. After searching through shelves, I came across this book Hunger Games yet again. This time, I decided to buy it because the cover looked pretty awesome.
I think I started it that night, and I'm absolutely positive that I finished it by the end of the next day. It is probably the best book you will ever read in your life. Child, Teen, Adult, whoever you are, I guarantee 100% that you will at least enjoy the book, if not love it.
So QUICK, go out and buy it NOW!!
This past Monday, the 14th of November, the first ever trailer for the legit Hunger Games came out. Boy was I just craving for the movie when I saw it. I am definitely going to the premiere, even if I go alone.
For those of you who haven't seen the trailer, you can find it here:
Also, after many fan trailers made... The Huffington Post has made a list of the top 10 fan-made trailers. You can find the article here, along with the videos:

Thoughts are umimportant Thursday

I've decided Thursday is the day we play Would you rather. I have loved that game since I was 8, and I still love it today no matter what. I feel even though we are older, we should keep playing in a more "mature" way (if this is considered more mature to all of y'all). Here is the first question for Would you Rather:
Would you rather as a 25-year-old, forget your entire childhood up to age 15 OR lose your memory of the last 5 years?
Good luck with this one :)

Wacky Wednesday

When you were younger did you ever read the book Wacky Wednesday?? It was by Dr. Suess I believe, and I absolutely loved it. It reminds me that there is something wacky everyday we just need to observe it. Something extremely random and wacky question today is: Why is it the "social norm" to get married? I honestly will get married when I am older, and I believe that marriage is important but who started it? What was the original point of it? Do any of you ever have weird thoughts like this??

My Random Thoughts Monday

I know I never even finished out the week with my blogging! It was a crazy week. Being the last week of volleyball season and HALLOWEEN I was really excited.
Which reminds me:
I never told you about my Halloween!!
I dressed up as a cowgirl this year, and I thought I was pretty darn cute for a last-minute costume.
(Plaid Shirt-Goodwill Overalls-Goodwill Boots-Borrowed Hat-Some shop in Palm Springs) (p.s. aren't those overalls to die for?!)
All the Kids in my family, and our costumes:
(Order from left to right: T-Harry Potter M-Princess M-Cheerleader M-Cowgirl)
Madalyn and I babysit this darling little girl. What's ironic about her costume(Rapunzel from Tangled if nobody knew who she was, which by the way would be very sad)? She has the shortest hair of all of her friends the same age as her.
Halloween night was spent playing a volleyball game, then taking two cute little girls trick-or-treating with my friend Damon. It was extremely fun because we ended the night with the movie Polturgeist II. It's sort of a tradition to watch one of the Polturgeist movies on Halloween.

Thoughts-of-mine Thursday

Today I'm missing this guy:

*November 2010, 2 nights before he left for South Africa*

This is my Cousin, Scooter. He is serving a mission for our church in South Africa right now. He has almost been gone a full year, which means he only has one more to go. I want to see him now, but I know it is important for him to serve the people in South Africa so they can learn of the truthfulness of our gospel. Being the Holiday season my Grandma has had all of us write letters for him and he'll open one a day. I hope he likes them a lot, and I hope it helps him teach the people of South Africa.

Tempting Lyrics Tuesday

When I grow up, I want to play this song at my wedding. It is just super cute! You and I by Ingrid Michaelson Don't you worry there my honey We might not have any money But we've got our love to pay the bills Maybe I think your cute and funny Maybe I wanna do what bunnies do with you if you know what i mean Chorus: Oh let's get rich and buy our parents home in the South of France Let's get rich and give everybody nice sweaters and teach them how to dance Let's get rich and build our house on a mountain making everybody look like ants Way up there you and I, you and I Well you might be a bit confused And you might be a little bit bruised But baby how we spoon like no one else So I will help you read those books If you will soothe my worried looks And we will put the lonesome on the shelf Chorus(2 times)
